New Ways To Analyze How You Perform Day-To-Day Activities

At the end of a week or month, when you want to analyze how you and/or your team has performed the activities that were assigned, generally you may take a report.

One of our customers of melssCRM felt that there could be a better way of doing this routine activity. Based on the feedback that we received, we have now developed a new, user-friendly chart that quickly allows you to analyze your activities.

From a simple drop down – you can choose, whether you would like to analyze the activities for the week, month, last month, this quarter, last quarter, this FY (Financial Year) or for a specific date range by entering the exact dates.

After giving the necessary filter conditions – when the Go button is clicked, you get a visually appealing; user-friendly chart, that clearly gives you a consolidated overview of how many activities you and/or your team has completed.

Now, instead of using the monotonous reports while analyzing the activities – you can use this user-friendly chart and have more fun at work.

One More Initiative To Improve melssCRM Security

In an open world – where data travels across networks in different continents, security has become all the more important. If customers are assured about the precautions that we take to safeguard their data, they feel secure and accept our product much faster. melssCRM being a web based CRM software takes data confidentiality very seriously.

We continuously work on enhancing the security that melssCRM offers. The login process takes place through Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) and uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) cryptographic protocol for encryption.

Rigorous testing was performed on various browsers and we implemented a Two-factor authentication mechanism – Identity Confirmation to authorize the browser through which you access melssCRM.

identity confirmation email

Initially we began with sending emails to your inbox to confirm your identity or allow your melssCRM administrator to manually enable a specific session.

To take security to the next level and give more agility to our users, we have now added a SMS option to confirm your identity.

Enthuse People To Gather Information About Customers

Customer information is a valuable asset that gives deep insights about customer trends, which may be beneficial for your business. The more you know about your customer the better for your customer relationship. You have to continuously learn about your customers, their needs and accordingly improve your products/services.

As William Pollard says, “Information is a source of learning. But unless it is organized, processed, and available to the right people in a format for decision making, it is a burden, not a benefit.”

melssCRM has helped many organizations like Molex, Maruthi Power Control Systems; to organize & process information and provides insightful analytical reports to the managements for better decision making and reap its benefits.

We believe that improvement has no end and to further enhance the amount of customer information that is being collected & organized through melssCRM, we have introduced a new feature – Record Completeness.

Record Completeness – as the name goes, shows a meter on the customer record to show the amount of information that has been entered. We tested this method of prompting the users in a subtle manner, in our user behaviour tests and it has shown great improvements in the amount of information that is entered in the CRM.

melssCRM Team strongly believes that this feature will help you increase the amount of information your business has about its customers and improve the overall customer relationship management process.

Simplifying Quotes And Invoices – Discount By Percentage

Quotation and Invoices are highly critical documents that deal with confidential information and financial details. You need to have attention to detail and great level of concentration while preparing them. For most businesses, it is a time consuming task. As part of our on-going efforts in simplifying quotes and invoices, we are improving the usability of these modules and overall performance of the CRM.

Based on the number of products/services you deal with and the regions you operate, the complexity of preparing them increases. To simplify the task of preparing the quotations/invoices, we have now enhanced a feature that will allow you to add discount values in percentage.

Earlier you had to manually calculate the discount percentage and enter absolute values discount field.

Starting today, say, if you want to give 2 percentage discount on any product/service to your customer – you can now enter “2%” (without double quotes) in the discount field and melssCRM will auto-calculate the discount percentage value for you.

Nevertheless you can still continue to enter absolute values in the discount field and the totals will be calculated accordingly.
